A topic of strong connection between metal and European academic music (also known as classical music) is popular since the eighties, but still there are very few musicians who are able to prove this connection. One of them is Nikola Cvetkovic from Serbia – classically trained pianist, known for his flawless piano renditions of metal music pieces. Once started with uploading videos on YouTube, in 2017 Nikola finally released his first full-length solo record, the name of which is speaking for itself: “Nikola Cvetkovic Plays KATATONIA (A collection of solo piano renditions)”. In June of 2018 he will play for you at Ragnard Reborn Nove Kolo fest in Kharkiv.
