The German metal beast Desaster emerged in 1989, when guitarist Infernal together with his friends in their adolescent years decided to play the music that they were obsessed with.
A string of demos led to first official releases – split with UNGOD in 1995 and full-length album in 1996. DESASTER brought back to scene the true Teutonic metal madness of the eighties, when black and thrash metal were not only evil underground unity, but something inseparable. And they continue to do it today – with great intensity, passion and rare ability to create strong memorable melodies in the whirls of metal chaos.
